Minions

Minions is designed for brand new skaters of all genders, ages 6–18, who are just getting started with roller derby.

Practices are held Friday evenings 5:45pm – 7pm and Sunday mornings from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Monthly dues are $50, and rental gear is available for those who need it.

Skaters will learn foundational skating skills such as safe falling, stopping, maintaining stability, one-foot glides, and an introduction to derby rules and gameplay basics.

This is a fun, supportive way for kids to build confidence, get active, and start their derby journey!

Home Team

Home Team is a recreational program for skaters of all genders, ages 6–18, who have passed our Level 1 skills and safety assessment. It’s designed to support Level 1, 2 & Level 3 skaters.

Practices are held Friday evenings 5:45pm – 7pm and Sunday mornings from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Monthly dues are $50.

In Level 1, skaters continue building their skills with advanced skating techniques such as transitions, crossovers, tracking, and positional derby strategy.

Level 2 introduces light contact, where skaters begin learning how to safely assist teammates, give and receive pushes, and work together on the track.

Level 3 is full-contact, competitive roller derby. Skaters at this level demonstrate advanced skating skills, strategic thinking, and strong teamwork. They play by the full set of derby rules.

Home Team is a great way for developing skaters to grow, stay active, and be a part of an amazing team!

Travel Team

Travel Team is a competitive program for Level 3 skaters of all genders, ages 12–18, who are ready to take their skills to the next level. Skaters must complete a tryout process to join, with tryouts held every September for placement on the A*Salt (pictured below), B*Salty, and C*Salt teams.

Practices are held on Fridays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM, with a 60% attendance requirement.

Skaters also participate in off-skates training to build strength and endurance, held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, which also requires 60% attendance.

Monthly dues are $75.

The team travels to compete three times per year, representing our league at regional and national events. This program is for dedicated skaters who are ready for high-level play, teamwork, and pushing their limits in a supportive, competitive environment.
