OUR mission
The Wasatch Jr Rollers is an open division of the Junior Roller Derby Association (JRDA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit flat track derby program. It is open to all youth ages 6 – 17. These youth represent the future of WJR, and of Roller Derby worldwide. Our league is proud to present Junior Roller Derby and help develop the next generation of roller derby athletes! WJR will encourage and enrich children and teenagers in developing character, confidence, leadership, and social skills. WJR will also develop the athletic skills of its participants through fine tuning athletic abilities and/or discovering latent skills.
Wasatch Jr Rollers Mission: To nurture self confidence in youth by developing teamwork and athletic ability within roller derby while treasuring individuality, encouragement, sportsmanship, mental strength, a culture of inclusiveness and understanding.
